2016, we entered again and have won our category for new homes. The project was a beautiful Walter Barda designed home. Thank you to everyone involved in this detailed project for the quality of work put in.

 

In our first year entering, 2013, we won first prize for our category in home renovations and extensions at the Master Builders Awards for Excellence. A gorgeous home designed by Harvey Little. A big thanks to everybody involved for the high standard of workmanship that enabled Southern Sky Building to achieve this award.

2016
This house was a carpenter's dream and is something you would expect to see in the Hamptons, USA. The three-level stone fireplace with exposed trusses is amazing. As a carpenter by trade, I can see the difficulty in building a house with 15-degree walls. All the different elements fitted together perfectly. Great job.
2012
This house ticked all the boxes when it came to price, budget and quality of workmanship. The design brief required that three generations of a family could live harmoniously together which was achieved by creating separate retreat areas as well as wonderful communal spaces.

The result is a complete house renovation and addition which significantly increases usable living space. The judges were also impressed by the excellent internal attention to detail.
